1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Brrainz handles information for its product pages, downloads, software, and related support. Brrainz is the software label of Andreas Pardeike.

Brrainz products are designed to collect as little personal data as practical. The details can vary by product, operating system, purchase provider, and the services you choose to connect.

2. Website and Downloads

The Brrainz website is hosted through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP address, browser details, request URL, timestamps, and security signals to serve the site, protect it from abuse, and provide basic operational logs.

Brrainz does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics SDKs on this site.

3. Purchases and Licensing

Paid purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy processes checkout, payment, tax, receipts, refunds, chargebacks, and fraud prevention. Brrainz may receive purchase and license information needed to deliver, activate, support, or refund a product.

Do not send payment card details to Brrainz support. Payment details are handled by Lemon Squeezy and its payment providers.

4. Mac and iPhone Apps

Brrainz apps run on your own devices and keep their data there. Pairing information, credentials, and settings are stored locally on each device until you unpair, remove the app, or clear its data. The apps do not use advertising, third-party tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. Where an app needs a system permission such as the camera, microphone, local network, screen recording, accessibility, or Face ID, it asks for it in context and uses it only for the stated purpose.

Drafty

Drafty for iPhone is a companion app for Drafty on Mac. When paired, Drafty sends encrypted panel text, quick task requests, task results, and selected file attachments through Drafty Relay so your iPhone and Mac can stay in sync.

Drafty Relay can see technical metadata such as room identifiers, device identifiers, host names, request timestamps, record update times, and attachment sizes. Drafty Relay does not receive the room secret and cannot decrypt prompt text, panel text, task results, or attachment contents. Relay rooms expire after inactivity.

Drafty for iPhone uses the camera only to scan Mac pairing QR codes.

Glasswing

Glasswing for Mac and Glasswing Remote for iPhone connect your iPhone directly to your paired Mac, either on a shared network or through a WireGuard tunnel to a gateway you control. Brrainz operates no relay or cloud service for Glasswing and receives no screen content, input, clipboard data, or recordings.

Glasswing Remote for iPhone stores Mac pairings and optional WireGuard credentials in the device keychain, protected by Face ID or your passcode. It uses the camera only to scan pairing and WireGuard QR codes, the microphone only when you enable narration for a screen recording, and the local network to reach your Mac. Recordings are saved on the iPhone.

Glasswing for Mac uses Screen Recording to stream the display or window you choose and Accessibility to deliver input from paired iPhones. It only talks to devices you have paired.

5. Support

If you contact Brrainz for support, the message may include your name, email address or account handle, product name, product version, operating system version, purchase reference, logs, screenshots, and any details you choose to provide.

Support information is used to answer your request, debug product problems, handle refunds or licensing questions, and improve products.

6. Third-Party Services

Brrainz products and pages may link to or integrate with third-party services such as Cloudflare, Lemon Squeezy, GitHub, Discord, Patreon, Apple, operating system services, or model providers. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies and account settings.

7. Retention

Brrainz keeps personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including product operation, support, security, accounting, legal compliance, and dispute handling.

App data such as pairings, credentials, and recordings stays on your devices and is removed when you unpair, delete the app, or clear the app data.

8. Your Choices

You can stop using a product, delete local app data, revoke app permissions in system settings, unpair devices, or contact Brrainz to ask about personal information associated with your support or purchase records.

9. Contact
