Terms of Service

1. Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of Brrainz product pages, downloads, software, license keys, and related support. Brrainz is the software label of Andreas Pardeike.

By downloading, purchasing, installing, or using a Brrainz product, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the product.

2. Purchases and Checkout

Paid products are sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for transactions. Lemon Squeezy handles checkout, payment processing, applicable taxes, receipts, fraud review, chargebacks, and payment-related compliance.

Prices, currencies, tax amounts, discounts, renewal terms, and final payment totals are shown at checkout before you complete a purchase. You are responsible for providing accurate billing and contact information.

3. Software License

Brrainz software is licensed, not sold. Unless a product page or checkout states different license terms, a purchase gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software for your own personal or internal business use.

You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, share license keys, remove copyright or license notices, or use the software to provide a hosted or managed service for others without written permission.

4. Updates and Availability

Product features, pricing, download links, compatibility notes, and license terms may change over time. When updates are offered, they may require a current license, a compatible operating system, or a separate purchase if the product page says so.

Brrainz may suspend or remove access to downloads, licenses, or support where needed to prevent abuse, fraud, security risk, infringement, or violation of these terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Brrainz products or services. This includes attempting to bypass licensing, interfering with service operation, reverse engineering where prohibited by law, using the product for unlawful activity, or violating the rights of others.

6. Third-Party Services

Brrainz products and pages may link to or integrate with third-party services such as Lemon Squeezy, GitHub, Discord, Patreon, operating system services, or model providers. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

7. Support

Support is provided on a reasonable-effort basis through the contact options listed on the Brrainz site. Support availability, response time, and scope are not guaranteed unless a product page or written agreement says otherwise.

8. Disclaimers

Brrainz products are provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. Brrainz does not promise that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose, environment, or workflow.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brrainz is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill arising from your use of a product.

Brrainz's total liability for any claim relating to a paid product is limited to the amount you paid for that product during the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, excluding conflict of law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain unaffected.

11. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Brrainz products after an update means you accept the updated terms.
